Ivan Dolac, island Hvar

Ivan Dolac is a small tourist village located on the southern slopes of the island Hvar in Croatia
Ivan Dolac is located between Zavala and Sv. Nedelja, and with the rest of the island is connected by a tunnel Pitva-Zavala in length of 1400 m, located on the eastern side of the island Hvar.

On the location of Ivan Dolac is a seven beaches bordered by pine trees. Five beaches are connected with a seafront promenade, and the other two which are nudist beaches are easily accessible.
In the village there is a small supermarket and several restaurants offering seafood specialties and traditional Dalmatian cuisine, and everything else needed can be found in the nearby town of Jelsa.

Thanks to the large number of sunny hours and steep vineyards on the slopes of the southern side of the island Hvar, on the area of Ivan Dolac are grown grapes of which are made wines of top quality.
