Buzet
Buzet is a Croatian town located in the heart of the northern part of Istria, near the border with Slovenia and Italy, well connected to all parts of Europe and Croatia.

The old medieval town Buzet is situated on a hill above a fertile valley of the river Mirna. Today Buzet is known as a city of truffles because it is located in a zone where are the greatest "hunting grounds" of this precious underground fungus.

This distinctive mushroom with specific taste is a trademark of Buzet and its surroundings because it grows right here in the heart of its wet forests, and can be found only with the help of special trained dogs.
